Even being able to play as Bad Girl and Shinobu Jacobs. ![]() Juvenile's Character and through Travis Touchdown. Especially with how Suda basically shares his life experiences and his journey in the video game industry throughout the game through Dr. Anyway, i was put off by how different the game was from the first 2 games, but i started to enjoy it. You gotta find a suitable partner to enjoy this game better. He didn't understand the story, but it was fun with him. Most people i know aren't into No More Heroes, and i got my brother to play with me. But i gotta say, this game is hard to enjoy with someone. I liked the gameplay and its hella fun co-op. I didn't understand it until playing through the game a few more times and watching GhenryPerez's video. The story didn't make any sense, and i was so confused. Travis Strikes Again was my final stop before No More Heroes III, and it felt the most underwhelming for me when i first played it. Regardless, it's still great and was a good addition to the series, in my opinion. It's also rumored Suda didn't like this game, which i think is likely. Many of the criticisms of this game are the weird shifts in tone in this game. To know more, watch TheGamingBritShow's video "No More Heroes 2's Killer Soundtrack." I don't have much to say, but the Shinobu part was cool but also felt off. The music was fantastic, but i still miss Masfumi Takeda. Although, unlike most people, i really didn't mind that the open world was gone. My only gripe is the mini games they were a bit grindy. ![]() I understand it's not everyones favorite. When i first played it, i loved it almost as much as the first. ![]() No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle was good, too. The main theme!!! The fun hack and slash motion control gameplay. Like he literally made the leimotif of No More Heroes. I loved all the bosses, and i honestly miss Masfumi Takeda as a composer for the No More Heroes series. I could go on and on, but tdlr i loved the game. It may be goofy, but it can still be taken seriously. The game is so goofy sometimes, but then it's serious as well. But the story and the nuances and subext are so well written. ![]() Just driving around listening to Gorgeous Blues. Sure, there were repetitive side jobs and assassination missions but it was fun, even collecting those balls around the map and t-shirts. Especially the first game, No More Heroes. I was only 15 at the time when i got into the series. Once the announcement was made, i was fast to pick up No More Heroes, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes (even the DLC, which is needed to understand No More Heroes III, like what are you doing skipping this game & or not buying the DLC?!). I wish the Switch version or even ports looked as beautiful as the gameplay in that trailer. Finally getting to see gameplay, the game looked incredible. And then there was the trailer + announcement of ports of NMH 1 & 2. Until i saw The Game Awards trailer, which was hype asf and a perfect setup for No More Heroes III.įrom both trailers, i was extremely excited to see what the game actually looked or played like. I was still hyped for the game, and I was hoping he'd get into Smash. I had a Switch at the time and was hyped for this game i knew nothing about simply because a character named Travis Touchdown was wanted for Smash Bros. I believe it was the E3 trailer for No More Heroes III. I discovered No More Heroes sometime in 2019.
